Seaporter1 Websites

The Seaporter1 family of websites is now welcoming
a new addition in the first months of 2025:
sp1works.com (new logo forthcoming)
ABOUT/F.Y.I. — This new site is intended to showcase the creative output of SR, the “1” in Seaporter1. The three main areas of my “staff’s” output are:
1) The RetroPlay Project (version 1.0 has been completed, involving virtual “replays” of Major League Baseball’s first 150 seasons — 1871 through 2020 — and version 2.0 — a restructuring of the Open Baseball League (OBL) established in the original project design — is being built). When results have been finalized, downloadable spreadsheet/PDF/book products can be generated, posted, and made available for (low-cost) sale. A couple of choices for a secure third-party payment processor are in view, but as things stand now, all downloads are free. Speaking in practical terms, we’ll have to walk before we can run; we’ll see how things develop.
2) My virtual band, TEKTONA, has produced several-dozen mp3 (and WAV) tracks that site visitors can listen to in their entirety (no choppy, 30-second samples!), download for free, and combine into their own playlists and “albums” as they see fit. Down the road, when tracks have been run through the “studio” and optimized for a better listening experience, the plan is to release commercially-viable (CD) albums, complete with artwork, track listings, and old-school liner notes. But again, first things first. Right now, though, you can already listen to TEKTONA mp3s and download ’em (at no charge) at my dedicated page: https://www.baseball150.com/tektona-net-retro-rock-mp3s/ . You can get a head start on making your own compilations of this “mystery band’s” music.
3) Over the course of the last two decades, I’ve written several theological and political works, ranging from short essays to longer treatises to full-length books, and even a 3-volume series called, ATHEOS: 6 PATHS TO DESTRUCTION (and that’s all I’m going to tell you about that now; sufficient details will follow when appropriate). The two books that I’ve already had published by BookLocker in 2024 can be found here: https://booklocker.com/books/13417.html and https://booklocker.com/books/13564.html (and at several online bookseller sites, including all of the big names; recommended besides BookLocker: Alibris, BookFinder; also, check out similar books at https://www.preterist.org/product-cat/all/ ).
If time and circumstances permit, other writing projects could be undertaken, and TEKTONA is “threatening” to regroup and slap together some new stuff, so-o-o …. well, … just stay tuned, that’s all.
That’ll do it for Day 1 in the life of sp1works.com. Friendly suggestion: be the first in your circle to bookmark this page for future reference, and make a point of checking in regularly. Exclusive content in several formats is what’s in store. — Posted 1/20/2025, updates made 4/2/2025.
